Each lab ends with a concrete result that you build yourself and the checker confirms, cell by cell.

• Turn two weeks of badge data into the daily attendance rate, the average day, the peak day and the peak-to-average ratio.
• Compare desk bookings with real use: desk-days available, the no-show rate and the utilisation per team and for the whole office.
• Size the desk estate from each department's peak attendance plus a buffer, work out the sharing ratio and see how many desks Larkfield has to spare.
• Measure how much space each desk and each employee takes, floor by floor and for the whole building, and how much area lies above Larkfield's density target.
• Build the annual occupancy cost from rent, service charge, utilities and cleaning, then express it per desk, per employee and per day someone actually comes in.
• Compare bookings with sensor data for eight meeting rooms, find the seat fill per room, count the oversized rooms and highlight them.
• Test whether Larkfield can give back Floor 6: the desks left against the new peak, the annual saving, the payback in months and the net saving over five years.
• Average six weeks of attendance by weekday, find the busiest day and the peak-to-trough gap, and chart the pattern.
