How is Tutorvo different from video courses?

You spend your time doing rather than watching. Every lesson pairs a short explanation with a lab where you build the result yourself, and the checker tells you straight away whether each cell is right.

Do I need Excel or other software?

No. The labs run in a spreadsheet inside your browser. All you need is an internet connection and a laptop, tablet or phone.

Will what I learn work in Excel and Google Sheets?

Yes. Common functions such as SUM, IF, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP and ROUND use the same names and syntax as in Excel, and they behave the same way in Google Sheets.

How does the checking work?

When you press Check, your sheet is evaluated on our server. For formula tasks it is also recalculated with changed inputs, so only a formula that really works passes. Chart tasks check the chart you inserted, for example its type and data.

What does a course cost?

Each course costs $9.99 as a one-time payment. That includes every lesson and lab, the final exam and the certificate, with lifetime access. There is no subscription.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying a course, provided no certificate has been issued for it yet. The details are in our terms.

What does the certificate show?

That you completed every lesson and passed the final exam, with your score, the date and a public verification link. It is a certificate of completion, not an official qualification.

What happens to my data?

We use no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. One session cookie keeps you signed in, and payments are handled by Stripe.
