About this course

Finance work runs on a core set of spreadsheet skills, and this course drills them one by one. You start with cell references and percentage calculations, then lock rates and inputs with absolute references so formulas copy correctly. SUM, AVERAGE, MIN and MAX summarise figures, IF and nested IF apply rules, and SUMIFS and COUNTIFS total by condition. VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP fetch prices and rates from tables, and ROUND and MROUND bring results to the precision a ledger or price list needs. The last lab handles dates, payment terms and early-payment discounts, a daily task in accounts payable and receivable. For finance and accounting students, career changers and new staff in finance teams.
