What you'll build

What you will be able to do

Each lab ends with a concrete result that you build yourself and the checker confirms, cell by cell.

  • Pull each channel's commission, payment fee, fixed fee and fulfilment fee from a fee table with XLOOKUP, build the total fee stack and the net per unit for eight order lines, and measure the fees as a share of revenue.
  • Work out the price each channel needs for a 30% contribution margin, round it to a price point with MROUND, check the margin the price point really earns and measure how far the channel prices spread.
  • Split 137 aprons across four channels by their sales share, round down to whole units, find the remainder that goes to the best channel and count the channels that would show fewer units than the minimum.
  • Turn each channel's peak sales rate and stock-sync delay into the units it can sell after the shelf is empty, round that up to a buffer, and price the oversells per channel and in total.
  • Count on how many channels each SKU is listed, measure each channel's listing coverage, find the SKUs that are listed everywhere and estimate the revenue Lena leaves on the table on Marketplace 1.
  • Roll sixteen weekly statements up into a P&L per channel with SUMIFS, take off the ad spend, and compare each channel's contribution, its share of the total and its contribution % of revenue.
  • Calculate the days of cover of every SKU on every channel, find the shortest cover and the channel that runs dry first with MINIFS and INDEX/MATCH, and estimate the lost sales and lost contribution before the next delivery.
  • Build Lena's quarterly channel dashboard: contribution and contribution % of revenue per channel with SUMIFS, a rank with RANK.EQ and a column chart that shows where the profit really comes from.

About this course

Selling the same products on your own shop and three marketplaces is easy until two customers buy the last unit at once. This course gives you the spreadsheet answers. Working with a fictional home-textiles retailer, you work out what every channel deducts from a sale, then set channel prices that leave the same margin. You divide a shared stock pool by sales share, translate sync delays into buffer units and estimate how many orders slip through. You also spot missing listings and the revenue they put at risk, build a contribution P&L per channel including ads and refunds, and see which channel runs out of stock first. A ranked dashboard with a chart closes the course. Built for marketplace sellers, e-commerce managers and inventory planners.
