• Roll the patient census forward month by month, turn it into the treatments the schedule should deliver at three sessions a week, and compare them with what was delivered.
• Measure how full each chair slot is, find the overall utilisation, check how many shifts fit into the opening day and pick the slot to fill first.
• Calculate patients per nurse and per technician for every slot, the staff each slot needs under the clinic's ratio policy, flag the short slots and work out the staff hours behind one treatment.
• Cost the disposables of one treatment, turn treatments per week into daily use, set a reorder point with safety stock and size this week's order.
• Turn a month's cost lines into cost per treatment, isolate labour with SUMIF, see how the cost falls at a higher volume and find the break-even number of treatments.
• Measure the payer mix by treatments, turn rates and collection rates into net revenue, find the true average revenue per treatment and price a shift in the mix.
• Calculate missed and shortened rates per patient and for the clinic, flag patients for a follow-up with IF and OR, count them and highlight their rows with a formula rule.
• Compare the census forecast with today's capacity, find the first quarter that runs out of places, compare the cost per added place of a 4th shift and more chairs, and chart demand against capacity.
