About this course

Containers share the host kernel, so their security rests on kernel features and careful configuration, and Kubernetes adds a whole control plane on top. This course explains both. You spin up a throwaway cluster on your own machine with kind or minikube and work through images, pods, the etcd store and how Kubernetes handles secrets and identities. The centre of the course is RBAC: you build a weak service account yourself, test what it can reach using impersonation, and see how a single verb lets it promote itself to cluster-admin, before fixing it with tight roles. Later lessons add network policies and admission rules. All work stays on a cluster you control, and you finish by writing an assessment that shows each misconfiguration and its remediation.
