• Turn a module plan into the total runtime, the words to script for one module, whole slides per lesson and the average lesson length: the numbers every production plan starts from.
• Look up the hours per finished minute for each video format, add up the production hours with a contingency and turn them into working days and a finish date with WORKDAY.
• Put one-off purchases and monthly subscriptions on the same 24-month footing, total them, spread them over the courses you produce and find when a one-off licence beats a subscription.
• Turn a list price into the price paid after coupons, the net per sale after a fictional revenue share and fixed fee for each sale type, the net revenue of a month and the best price from a price test.
• Measure each step of a launch funnel by channel, pool the visitor-to-buyer conversion, work out the revenue per visitor and how many visitors the next launch needs for its target.
• Compare a self-paced and a cohort-based run of the same course by net revenue, instructor hours and net per instructor hour, and find how many cohort seats match the self-paced hourly rate.
• Turn lesson completions into a drop-off curve, measure the drop from lesson to lesson, find the lesson where most students leave and calculate a quiz pass rate with COUNTIFS.
• Summarise six months of sales by course with SUMIFS, compare refund rates, work out how many months of net sales pay back the production hours of the main course and chart the revenue by course.
