What you will be able to do

Each lab ends with a concrete result that you build yourself and the checker confirms, cell by cell.

• Turn Ridgeway Outdoor's first-half sales into the four headline KPIs of its dashboard: total sales, growth vs last year, % of target and the latest month's momentum.
• Build two KPI cards for the regional scorecard and let conditional formatting turn every region's variance green or red.
• Calculate the monthly growth and draw the dashboard's main chart: two lines, 2026 against 2025, with both axes titled.
• Total the six product categories, calculate their shares, show them as a sorted bar chart with data labels and build a "top two" KPI with LARGE.
• Total each region's half-year, add a line sparkline to every region row, calculate the change from January to June and spot the region that slipped in June.
• Calculate % of target per month and build the two classic target charts: actual columns with a target line, and actual with % of target on a secondary axis.
• Build a month picker: one input cell drives the KPI cards (via INDEX/MATCH) and a region chart (via SUMIFS), so the whole dashboard switches to another month when you type a new one.
• Assemble Ridgeway Outdoor's one-page H1 report from the finished data block: a trend chart, a ranked region chart, a target chart and a rule that flags weak months.
